The boys at Kids World in Delores, CO

This park was built by community volunteers in a week! The architect consulted with kids to incorporate their ideas into the plan. This is the best kids playground I have seen yet.

Back To His Usual Self

The Ripster is getting back to his old self. His leg swelling is down to nearly normal and he is eating like normal. He is walking very well and requesting longer walks. Tomorrow he will see the doctor.
It is really nice to have him back!

Sam and The Frier

We walked the entire ball park; played in the grass and on the slide; Sam threw a few pitches and we walked up to the upper deck where we met Tom Garfinkel, President and CEO of the Pads. He offered us his seats, but we passed, we were having too much fun!

Sammy's First Game

As you can see, Sammy is extremely excited to see the Padres take on the Dodgers at Petco Park. He had a good time and we made it into the 8th inning. Wouldn't you know, the Pads tied it up with 5 runs in the bottom of the ninth only to loose on a Loney homer in the 13th.

Yes, we sat behind a guy wearing a Manny jersey. The crowd felt 2/3 Dodger but I remained loyal to the Pads.

Ripley's Guts

As can be seen in the photo above, there is nothing wrong with Ripley's guts. He'll be fine.

Ripley is Feeling Better

Look at Rip soaking up the sun in the backyard. He is feeling a lot better, eating well and I'm pretty sure he will be demanding a walk soon.

He was very sick on Tuesday night and was not able to walk. Indications are that he must have gotten into some rat poison - not sure if or how this happened - but he was bleeding internally and his whole rear hind is bruised and swollen.

Today the swelling is stable, maybe reduced a little and he is walking pretty well. Even up and down the stairs to go out back. He is definitely improving.

Thanks for supporting The Ripzone!
